Congratulations to Kat who among other achievements in 2012 was 7th overall and 2nd female in the Joey Hoppet. Here is a photo of Kat competing in the Interschools competition.
Skike Australia congratulates Katerina and is supporting the award because we want to encourage junior XC athletes to enjoy training and train to achieve their best. Skike equipment is excellent for ski training, fun to use and, highly versatile in when and where it can be used by teams and individuals.
During the 2012-13 summer school holiday break Kat travelled with a junior development team to the USA to train and compete. She was so well placed in regional results that she qualified to compete in the US National Junior championships. She had to return back home to start the school year so she was unable to stay to compete in the nationals.
We wish Katerina all the best in her sporting endeavours and imagine that we will hear much more about this aspiring young athlete in the future.
